Midwestern Conference in Medieval Philosophy
The Midwestern Conference
We are pleased to announce the first—and what we hope is the first annual—Midwestern Conference in Medieval Philosophy. The purpose of this conference is to provide a formal occasion and a central location for philosophers and scholars of the Midwest region (and elsewhere!) to present and discuss their current research in medieval philosophy. The conference is scheduled for the 19th-20th of September 2003 and will be hosted at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
All interested philosophers and scholars are invited submit a request to read a paper or present work in progress. Sessions will run approximately 1 to 1˝ hours, with the total number and precise nature of the sessions depending on the participants and the work they choose to present. There will be no formal program announced until very near the date, and paper submissions will not be required ahead of time.
