We have provided a worksheet for students to guide them through the reuquirements for the Native American Studies major. You can download the the sheet as a pdf (Adobe Acrobat) file or as a Microsoft Word 2000 file. We will keep track of various student events and activities here also. The biggest event for the Spring is the Native American Retreat. The program is geared to Native High School students to orientate them to the wide possibilities for them in higher education. Creighton University also sponsors a Native American Association. You can visit their webpage to find out about this group. We have created a discussion list for all Native American Studies majors. The list is called "nasmajor" and anyone who has registered for the major or is interested in persuing a major in this field is more than welcome to join. All you need to do is drop Fr. Bucko, S.J. an e-mail (bucko@creighton.edu ) and tell him that you would like to join the Native American Studies Majors List. |
