--This incised relief was taken from the outer enclosure wall of the temple of Kom Ombo. The the relief displays the surgical tools that ancient Egyptians used. Not all the objects have been identified, and there is some speculation as to their functions. (Citation)--
--Egyptian physicians were renowned for their needle-work on patients. These are a few examples of needles dated back to the early Dynastic Period, 3150 B.C. - 2181 B.C.. (Citation)--
--This object is recognized to be an Egyptian toilet tool, but its function has not been uncovered. Dated to the 18th Dynasty, 1570 B.C. - 1293 B.C.. Found in the tomb of Kha Deir el-Medina. (Citation)--
