--The scorpian goddess serqet, seen here as a small statue, is adorned with a scorpian on her head.--



--The scorpian goddess Serqet, shown here as a gaurdian of the canopic chest, was believed to have a special role in the treatment of bites by venomous animals. Notice the scorpian sitting on top of her head. Dated to 18th Dynasty, 1570 B.C - 1293 B.C.. (Citation)--





















--This cippus represents Horus-the-Child standing upon two crocodiles with 'dangerous animal' in his hands, and the head of Bes above Horus.--






--This cippus represents Horus-the-Child, a protector from harmful creatures. The head of Bes is displayed above Horus, which is a typical occurrence in artifacts that display Horus. Notice the 'dangerous creatures' in his hands. He also stands upon two crocodiles. The hair style depicted on Horus, lock of hair with a shaved skull, was typical of male children in Ancient Egypt.
