Above is a sketch map of Tikal by A.M. Tozzer and R.E. Merwin from the Peabody Museum at Harvard University, made in 1910 as a result of an expedition that was sent out by the Peabody Museum in order to study Tikal in greater detail.

Information About Each Pyramid:

  1. Temple I:
    Facade faces west.
    Pyramid Height: 29.5 m
    Temple Height: 17.7m
    Total Height: 47.2m
  2. Temple II:
    Facade faces east.
    Pyramid Height: 21m
    Temple Height: 22.5m
    Total Height: 43.5m
  3. Temple III:
    Facade faces east.
    Pyramid Height: 32.5m
    Temple Height: 21.7m
    Total Height: 54.2m
  4. Temple IV:
    Facade faces east.
    Pyramid Height: 45m
    Temple Height: 24.7m
    Total Height: 69.7m
  5. Temple V:
    Facade faces north.
    Pyramid Height: 35.5m
    Temple Height: 21.8m
    Total Height: 57.3m
