The above map was created to go along with the panorama. Both were created by Dr. W.H. Holmes around 1888.
Citation
Gymnasium and Temples - Where a game, similar to what we call basketball, was played. Because of the temple located at the place of the game, it is thought to have a great significance to the culture. Group of the Columns - An extensive series of temples and ruins.
Great Well - One of the Cenotes. The other is beyond the view of either picture.
Tower - Also called Caracol, it is possibly an astronomical observatory.
Palace Nunnery - Called a Nunnery by the early Spanish conquerers, it is probably the place where the royal family lived.
