Here are what fellow visitors have had to say! Again, thank-you!

I really enjoyed seeing the gargoyles and the chimeres close up. I have spent time before studying the mediaeval period, and this helps add some more information to what I already know. This site is extremely well-thought-out and well done. Thanks for making it so informative! Oh, the hand-drawn gargoyle was incredible, too :)

The tour was fantastic, I found your site to be very informative and well laid out. I think this is one of the best web museums that I have visited. I love the medieval period and find it to be fascinating. Even your links are great. THANKS!! :)

Nice job . . . you need to explain "visitor status" as most people do not know what is meant by the terms in relation to museums!!!

Note from the curator: For the infomation of other visitors, it should be noted that work on the above problem has since been resolved. Thank-you all for your input so far.

I enjoy this museum. It is extremely informative and lots of fun too! I particularly like "Find the Gargoyle".

Awesome presentation! I particularly liked the "Where are the gragoyles? Here they are . . ." One confusing thing for me was table in the lead page where the headers appear to refer to what is below them. . .I learned a lot about my friends the gargoyles from your site. Musee tres informatif!!

Note from the curator: I agreed that their existed a problem with header distinction and have since changed the menu's format. Thanks again.

Wow! A beautiful site. Congratulations on your web site . . . for amateurs and students alike.

Had a great time!!!!!

An excellent choice of topic! Sensibly restrictive but touching on wider medieval concerns.

The gargoyles here are beautiful! Excellent information. Well done!

Good for research. Wish it had more gargoyles.

Fascinating, very enjoyable, would like to go and see the cathedrals in person.

I found this site to be very informative. I had been taught that the Middle Ages was a dark time. Now, I am open to different views of the Middle Ages. Thanks for exposing me to a different and fresh perspective on the Middle Ages and Gargoyles.

This site is a (rare) example of the web fulfilling its potential as a source of information and education. I wish there were more like it.

This is an excellent website for the fan of the gargoyle and chimere. I would love to see it enhanced and embellished. It was well worth the search to find it!!!!!!!

My family really enjoyed the tour of the museum.

I adore gargoyles, I just think they are so awesome and intriguing. I had never heard of grotesques before and it was cool to look at them. This is a great web-site. The person(s) who put this together did an awesome job.

Outstanding exhibit!

Great!

I think the history and ideology embodied in these works of artistic fancy speak to us as clearly as any written account of the era. A fascinating collection!!

I enjoyed the tour. Thank You!

On the locate the gargoyles screen it would have been interesting and more informative to be able to blow up each section and actually see the gargoyles, in all their glory.

Note from the curator: This is an excellent idea, but will take some time. It will be attempted.

I've always loved gargoyles and plan to make some for my home. I plan to design my own but I like to check out what already exists. Kansas City, Kansas has a fire station turned community center that has some of the most unique modern day examples I've seen: sort of primeval firefighters!! I "streaked" through this time but I'll be back! Thank you.

For me, you have done a fine job.

I have yet to explore this site fully, but I look forward to doing so. THANK YOU for including info for kids--it's never too early to begin Built Environment education!!

I would like more pictures of gargoyles.

I enjoy learning all about France - the people, architecture, etc.

It was very informative. You put it in a neat order.

I collect gargoyles and it was really interesting to find more information about them. This is a really cool exhibit.

I grew up in Europe and this page was a nice reminder of how special some things are that you used to take for granted.

Not particularly more helpful than my past readings and photography. It is truly difficult to find true substance in researching gargoyles. . . very little factual information on gargoyles and grotesques prior to the high Middle Ages.

As a former professor and college president, let me thank you.

As a teacher I can see the capabilities of the internet! I am impressed by you web site. Thank you for making use of the internet for furthering education.

First time visitor . . . very interesting.

Really really neat. Can't wait to show my grandchildren!

This is a great site.

I am a huge fan of gargoyles and have found your site very interesting and enjoyable! Thank-you so much!

My step-daughter and myself viewed the site together. In the summer I teach her clay and this site has given us some creative ideas.

Everything here is educational and entertaining. The sequencing of facts is excellent.

The history and the examples of gargoyles was totally fascinating. I sincerely hope you will continue and expand your presentation for our study and enjoyment. I've bookmarked your site for future viewing. Thank you.

Yours is one of the most interesting sites that I have come across on the Internet. Keep up the good work. Thank-you very much.

What great fun. I'd like to see more.

Keep up the good work!

Wonderfully representative collection of gargoyles and grotesques.

How about some gargoyle art: drawings paintings, etc.

Note from the curator: This is a wonderful idea and will be worked on. In this manner, the museum will be able to show not only what has been said in literature but in other media as well. Very nice!

I am in the 6th grade, and have selected Gargoyles as the topic for my academic project this year. I need a minimum of 4 sources for the project, and found your site to be helpful.

Very nicely presented, interesting and informative.

I collect gargoyles and find them quite exciting. Just acquired a new one which I am trying to identify. Looks like the "winged monster" only in a sitting position.

Good page, I love Gargoyles!

I am writing a paper on Gargoyles and their relationships to architecture for my history of architecture at Kent State University. I found your site to be very helpful.

I had a school project about Gargoyles and our local library had nothing. It's a small town library and that's usually the case. My dad has internet access and helps me search class topics. This was the best site - by far. Thanks.

This web site saved my life!!!!! I could not find much that was useful information on gargoyles until I visited this site. Thank you !

I found this to be a very well put together site. It has nice photographic examples for students to look at.

An interesting proposition. Enjoyed reviewing the scupture and pictures.

I enjoy gargoyles very much and I would like to see even more pictures of them than what you have here. Overall very enjoyable.

This was very well done, well organized, and obviosly a great amount of work and enthusiasm went into this . . . It shows . . . Great job!
