BIBLIOGRAPHIC RESOURCES
Lakota Dakota Bibliography: This is a comprehensive bibliography of primarily scholarly works on the Lakota and Dakota. I first compiled this bibliography while working on my dissertation and have continued to add to it with materials from other research projects as well as entries contributed by other scholars.
Lakota Health and Healing Bibliography: This bibliography grew out of two articles I wrote with Candy Iron Cloud on Lakota Health and Healing. It contains references to articles both on traditional health practices as well as contemporary health issues.
Siouan Languages Bibliography:The purpose of this web site is to bring together in one place a searchable bibliography of all the linguistic and language related work done on the Siouan-Catawban languages.
Lakota Language Resources: A site with listings of Lakota language materials.
Lakota Books: A useful source for reprints of out-of-print materials as well as original works, language materials and hard to find items.
University of Nebraska Press: This press devotes a large part of its efforts to contemporary publications on the Lakota and other Northern Plains groups as well as reissues of classic works.
