PAG-AALAY NG PUSO FOUNDATION
Values Education Program
The Chapel A concrete chapel became the center of activities. As the settlers came from different regions, it became apparent that the one unifying factor was their faith in God. The people asked to know more about their faith, and PPF responded. PPF started teaching catechism to adults, to the youth, and to the children. Soon Adult Faith Sharing groups (Buklods in the vernacular) were formed. The Buklods met weekly to discuss faith matters, and a general assembly once every two months. There is much pouring out of heartaches and problems, and gradually a sense of solidarity in the community based on their common lot began to emerge, and a lot of reconciliation and encouragement among themselves began to take place.
