PAG-AALAY NG PUSO FOUNDATION
Day Care Center Project
The Education of the Children PPF responded to another need the people expressed: education for their children. A Day Care or Pre-School was opened in 1989 and it was established and conducted in the chapel. After two years, the preschool & Day Care had three classes with 30 children each. A favorite event of the children was the field trips. We took the children, for example, to the zoo. There they were amazed to see that there were animals like tigers and elephants, when all they had known were dogs, cats, roaches, rats and ants. Each March, a graduation ceremony of the children takes place where each excited child (and parent) is dressed in a tiny toga, and receives an award.
Now, the Day Care graduation takes place in the Municipal Complex Building because Day Care expanded to another area. These two Pre-schools operate with 200 children in seven classes.
