Fr. Pro With Students

Although he loved all people, Father Pro’s ministry was above all to the poor and the disfranchised, the working classes Making a pun, he called them "people of Pro." By this, he meant "his" people. Also, in Spanish the word "pro" means "something of worth." In the souls of the people, even those regarded as the least by other men, Father Pro saw something of great worth. For him, souls were of infinite value, and the gifts he most wanted to give to God.

We are the people of Pro. From Heaven he touches us, hoping to inspire us to pass the loving touch of Christ Our King on to the other people of Pro is our world.
