A Smiling Fr. Miguel Pro, S.J.
In keeping with the formal type of photographs made in his time, most of the known photographs of Blessed Miguel show him with a solemn expression. His own writings and the testimony of those who knew him, however, show he had a joyful nature. A realistic new portrait of Pro, executed in pastels by the Houston artist Kathy Crosse, was commissioned by Lawrence LeLeux for ProVision, so people could get a glimpse of our Blessed smiling.
