Blessed Miguel Pro, S.J.
| English | Español | The shrine of Blessed Miguel is in the beautiful Jesuit Church of the Holy Family in Colonia Roma, D.F. (Mexico City) After the ritual exhumation during the Beatification process in 1988, Father Pro's relics were reserved in a small chapel in this church until November of 1997 when they were translated into the main sanctuary in order to make them more accessible for veneration by the faithful. Visitors to the shrine may also wish to visit nearby Buena Prensa, the Jesuit publishing group, which has a small collection of items concerning Blessed Miguel. The Miguel Agustin Pro Juarez Center for Human Rights is also in the neighborhood. Our photos were furnished through the courtesy of Father David Fernandez, S.J. of PRODH.
