Please add my son to your prayer list. He will be having surgery on his knee on 12/10. We are praying that it won't be necessary. He meets with a sports medicine doctor on 11/29 for a second opinion. My son has 2 court things coming up, a dui and another charge due to him having a problem with drugs, I hand these problems to Dear B. Miquel that He may help our family. Also my 19 year old is home from college, staying home, she didnt do well and we need prayers, she is confused, not sure of what to do. She did great last year. Prayers also for my other daughter, prayers for myself also. I have severe back problems and i deal with alot of pain every day. I need to get a bigger place that i can afford and my car died so i am looking for a running used car. I know Bl. Miguel will help. I ask for help in tolerating a medical condition that is very disturbing, the ringing in my damaged ear is so hard to live with. My petition is that my sister who had converted to the Jehovah's Witness recently came back to the Catholic Church but I feel that she still has some of the beliefs from the Jehovah's Witness. I would like to pray that she the lord come to her and help her really come back to Christ. Dear Blessed Miguel Pro. I am asking for your intercession for the marriage of my son Justin and his girlfriend Stephanie. They want to get married outdoors in God's country instead of the Catholic Church. He says that God is everywhere so it should not matter where he gets married. They both are Catholics. Dear Blessed Miguel, please pray for Justin and Stephanies spiritual eyes to be opened so that they will be able to see the beauti of the Catholic Church and to be able to see truth in the pureness of the Catholic Church. Help them understand that Marriage is a Sacrament and that getting married in the Church brings them so many spiritual gifts. Blessed Miguel Pro please intercede for myself and my family. I have had serious breathing problems for almost 10 months and I have been unable to work or provide for my wife. The doctor's can't figure out what is wrong and I don't seem to be getting any better. Please intercede on my behalf for a cure to my problems. I also ask for your special intercession for my wife and I to have a baby, we have been trying unsuccessfully for 3 years now and we are getting worried. Since Dec 2003, I have been having tests for suspected lung cancer. After biopsies it would not show up as cancer. Yet, it was a nodule growing slowly. On Nov 23, this year, I finally had a mediastony, and it showed that the suspected nodule is cancer and it has spread to the lymph nodes. I am now a Stage 3A cancer.
They wanted to start chemo and radiation last week, but everything wasn't done, (like a brain MRI), so i will have that on Wednesday the 21. I prayed this morning and had a wonderful 'miracle' in that I was scheduled for chemo, but asked if I could start next week because it is Chrismas and it would mean a lot to me to not be sick from the chemo and radiation. So, the doctors agreed and we have set it up for Dec 28.
Meantime over the past 3 months, I have been trying to find a Beatified Person to take up my cause before God. Somehow, I know that I will receive a miracle. I am a nervous person who has always been that way, and I seem so wonderfully blessed in my calm and faith, truly feeling the best I ever have. I'm 60, and I have lived, having seven children, and 11 grandchildren. God has been so very good to me all my life, always sending wonderful people to be with me and teach me His ways. And I can be difficult!
My grandchild born Dec 1 has been named Michael Joseph. I just found Fr Pro on the internet last week, so after looking and reading about other Blesseds, I have chosen Fr Pro, because of his humor, and this evident sign of the baby's name. We have a lot of humor around here, Thank God.
Thank you for your prayers and intercession for this cure of lung cancer and if it is not God's Will, strength and obedience to His Will with a smile. Please pray for my family, also.

I am sending this petition for prayer in requesting Blessed Miguel Pro to grant us a miracle. This is for my brother who is named Michael. Mike of course was named after Fr. Pro. This past week he was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Were not yet sure what kind. At this time he is in good health and feels just fine. He has a lump on his neck and one under his arm. We are praying that this is discovered early enough and with treatment, Mike can make a full recovery. Today our family and friends have started the Novena to Blessed Miguel asking for a miracle. We will finish on his feast day 11-23. Please help us in asking everyone to pray for him.

At this time, my younger sister is suffering from dysphasia (difficulty swallowing) and other digestive problems. She is literally starving! She has lost over 4 5lbs since Feb. I want to make a special novena to Blessed Miguel for her healing. I know everything is in God's hands and He is dealing with her is a special way. I believe our favorite Saint....Blessed Miguel has performed a miracle. My youngest brother had been alienated from the Catholic Church and its teachings for many years. He went to confession, received the Sacrament of Healing and Communion and is now going to Mass. I had made a novena to Blessed Miguel that he return to the Church and I believe Blessed Miguel interceded. In addition, I am praying that his cancer will be healed. Please pray with me!

Kate was diagnosed in August 2002 with a brain tumor that had basically no cure. "Go home and pray for a miracle." were the oncologist's words. So we prayed. Her Mom put the relic of Blessed Miguel under Kate's pillow and she sleeps with it every night. He was among the many Heavenly friends the family prayed to. And after 32 weeks of chemotherapy, 30 radiation treatments and 3 brain surgeries, (after which they changed Kate's diagnosis to a different tumor type-a miracle in itself) Kate's MRI on July 29th,2003 showed "no evidence of residual tumor." Kate is truly a walking miracle.
Thank you for sending me the beautiful prayer for the elevation of Father Pro to sainthood. I am devoted to him and I continue to give out his picture and prayer card, especially to people who I know are in difficult or desperate circumstances.
It really doesn't say anything about this in any of the books I have read about him, but I have found that he is a very tender intercessor for those people who have suffered a long time in strained family relationships and are at the point of giving up.
I have been estranged from my daughter for more years than I want to count. She married and didn't invite me to the wedding and she has two children whom I am never seen. Since I have prayed every day for the intercession of Father Pro, she has re-established contact with me, and that contact has been very positive. Everyone says it is a "major miracle"! I really love Father Pro!

I wanted to quickly tell you a positive story that happened regarding the cards that I received from you.
You probably don't remember me, as I am sure that you have so many, many people requesting cards, but you sent me cards a few days before Christmas (Dec 2001). I gave them to my spiritual friends as gifts.
One of the pro cards, I gave to my friend that works in a Womens Correctional facility in Southern California. It is a high risk work environment.
About a month ago, one of the inmates was brought into the medical facility. The young woman, ( I believe she was in her 20's) had stuffed wads of toilet paper down her throat in an effort to commit suicide. She was turning blue from a lack of oxygen. . My friend who was wearing her Father Pro relic under her clothing, quickly asked all of heaven to help her with this young woman. She reached into the womans throat and was able to retrieve the wad of paper that was closing off the inmates air supply. The womans life was saved.
When my friend related this story to me she was still shaken and in awe of the instant help she received from Father Pro and all heaven.

This is a very important moment to me and my family, and i want to give you our testimony, so people believe in Padre Pro as some one very especial and near to God, and the most important thing, that he really listen to all devoted prayers:
Last March 1st 2002, my father in law suffer a multiple heart attack, which has 16 stoppage, that's mean his heart does not give oxigen to the brain in 16 times. That moment was very difficult to everyone, because not only for his conditions, but also because the doctors say to us that was no any chance to him to survive such condition, they told us to be resigned, there was no hope the doctors said; at that time they were walking away, my wife (daughter of my father-in-law), stopped the doctors and told them, "Doctor please do your best on my father, because miracles exist, and because they exist we still have a hope", since that moment we start to pray to Padre Pro for my father in law, i always have in my wallet several images of Padre Pro to give them to people i think they might need his help, so i pass the images through the other members of my wife's family, and we all pray with all of our heart.
I'm so proud to be a family of Padre Pro, i'm very proud of him, he give us the MIRACLE, in less of 24 hours from such moment, my father in law start having a pulse and amazing recover, the miracle Ann, was not only for his surviving, but also because he didnt need a surgery, was no need to put him any bypass, or pacemaker, this is very amazing, and most of all he did not present or has any brain damage because of the oxigen he didnt receive in 16 times; six days later March 7, 2002 he is now in his home, enjoying all his family in a way i never see before, he really unit his family because of the miracle that he is a live, with a very notable faith in God and on Padre Pro, I already ask him to write his own testimony so i can put it on Padre Pro grave in Mexico City, where everyone has put all testimonies of miracles in his honor.
I dont have more words to explain the experience that we went through that day, was very sad and was no any chance or hope for my father in law to survive since the opinion on the doctors, they dont even believe what went in that hospital room, they still say to us that medical speaking he was dead, that was very obvious (medical speaking) that he were have brain damage, they told us just some days ago, that they dont do anything but his job, the reason that my father in law is a live i because of the God hand, definitely this was a huge miracle, its seems for the doctors that we went into the hospital not because of a heart attack but for teeth matter, so we can understand the amazing recover, so i proudly can tell everyone that have read this testimony that Padre Pro really listens, he really takes our prayers to God, and for us, he obtain the MIRACLE from God to give it to my father in law. God bless Padre Pro for ever!!!!!

After the birth of our first two children my husband and I just assumed that we would be able to have more children when we were ready. After 8 years of trying we came to realize that it was not meant to be - or so we thought. We found ourselves expecting again and were quite shocked at the idea of bringing a baby into our home after so many years! I read about Blessed Miguel the summer I was pregnant, and I was so impressed by the strong faith that Blessed Miguel had - and by the love and devotion he had to the Blessed Mother. I can remember my father would tell me stories about him when I was a child. Miguel was everything a mother could ask for in a son, and my husband and I decided if our baby was a boy, that we would name him Miguel. It was a wonderful pregnancy, up until the 31st week. I was rushed to the hospital with a horrible pain in my side - it turned out to be a huge cyst that developed on an ovary , and our little Miguelito was kicking at it like it was a soccer ball! I had to have surgery the very next day to remove it, and it was risky, since I was so pregnant. The doctor decided to keep me awake, this would keep the least amount of anesthesia from reaching the baby- so I prayed to Our Lady and to Blessed Miguel. But you know, I was never worried. For some reason, I had a tremendous sense of calm, and that's unusual for me. All I can say is that I think Fr. Miguel interceded for me. After a lengthy recover I was able to deliver our own little Miguelito 7 weeks later, and he's been a blessing to our entire family. I still talk to Fr. Miguel, and I know that he is watching over his namesake. I feel it, it's hard to explain. -- Nola
Help, please. In the past a number of you have sent me photos of Pro-related things. One of these was a photo of a gorup of home school students on All Saints Day with a child dressed as Pro. One of our list made a beautiful quilt depicting Father Pro's life. I'd love to have a photo of her with the quilt. All of the things which have been sent to me have been passed on to Father Suarez in Mexico. So here's my request. We are starting a new section of the website and we'd like to have some photos if you have them related to Father Pro and your relationship to him. The very first photo we are going to put up is of an adorable baby boy from Austin, Texas, who is named after Father Pro! I believe there is also someone on this list whose son took Pro for his confirmation saint -- we'd love to see a photo of that, too! And favors. If you feel that Father Pro has granted a favor to you, please let me know about it. I will, of course, continue to send the report of favors and all letters on to Mexico to the cause headquarters.
