My soul magnifies the Lord,
And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.
For He has regarded the low estate of His handmaiden,
For behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
For He who is mighty has done great things for me,
and holy is His name.
And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.
He has shown strength with His arm:
He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
He has put down the mighty from their thrones,
and exalted those of low degree.
He has filled the hungry with good things;
and the rich He has sent empty away.
He has helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy;
As He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to His posterity forever
Amen.
Proclama mi alma la grandeza del Señor,
se alegra mi espíritu en Dios mi Salvador,
porque ha mirado la bajeza de su sierva.
Desde ahora dichoza me diran todos los pueblos
porque el Poderoso ha hecho grandes maravillas en mí y
Su nombre es Santo.
Su misericordia alcanza a los que le temende generación en generación.
Él hace proezas con su brazo,
dispersa a los soberbios de corazón.
Derriba de su trono a los poderosos
y enaltece a los humildes.
A los hambrientos los colma de bienes
y a los ricos los despide vacíos.
Auxilia a Israel su siervo,
acordándose de su santa alianza
según lo había prometido a nuestros padres
en favor de Abraham y su descendencia por siempre.
