Writing Mother of God of Compassion

An icon is a sacred object , created for devotional purposes, so the cost of an icon is not to buy the sacred image but to support the artist and acquire the necessary materials for the icon and to continue the artist's own training and studies. The cost of icons varies according to whether or how much gold leaf is used, if acrylic or egg tempera paints are used, the size of the board, the number of subjects and the intricacy of the work.

Un Icono es un objeto sagrado,creado para uso devocional,de manera que el costo del icono no es para comprar la imagen sino para apoyar a la artista en su ministerio, costear  los materiales para la creación y para continuar el entrenamiento y estudios. El costo de los Iconos varia según los materiales usados, acrílicos tempera al huevo con pigmentos, cuanto oro se usara, el tamaño del panel, el numero de sujetos en el diseño y la complejidad del trabajo.
