February 6th.

There must be
more than a touch
of Hopkins
in the air,
for everything now
is transparent
and all that is
seen and unseen
reminds me of
You.
The slightest movement...
the nod of a tree,
the flutter of city
spattered birds,
the cast shadows
of cobalt blue
on the pavement,
and the people
whose sells evoke
love.
I am all gratitude
spilling over
like the Seven Falls,
a warm flow of tears
simply
from having felt Your
love
again inside
this afternoon
