The Glass Quartz Sutra

The Glass Quartz Sutra
is breathless
washed of wounds,
and bears no surface
facets or blemish inside
to call it rare
or costly for jewelers.
It is the motionless
crystal pond
or the vacant window
of the bowed bodhisattva
opening into eternity.
It is utterly simple,
and if you look
with the pure passionate
eyes of the Spirit,
you can see the
Handmaid of the Lord
reflected within.
She opens the
rapidly closing circle
of the Diamond Sutra,
with the crush
of her heel
placing miracle
above repetition.
