The Citrine Sutra

The Citrine Sutra
allows the light
to pour through.
There is the essence
(having evolved from
the Coral Sutra)
of milk and honey-
the opacity of bondage
moving through the
golden time of Exodus;
a time to free also
the heart
from slavery.
When this sutra clears
pure healing light
comes to live
within.
Then is the majestic serpent
transfigured
shedding burnished gold scales
molting to a precious
white light;
the dragon to
the dove.
