Mother of God of Vatopedi
This icon originated in the Greek monastery of Vatopedi on Mt. Athos. This icon offers for our contemplation a most tender gesture of love of the Mother of God with the Christ Emmanuel. This icon was commissioned by a Russian Orthodox priest in Albuquerque.
