To thank our adoptive families for the good care they took of us at Navotas, the Tertians sponsored a day at Loyola House of Studies for them. As they say on the backs of postcards and newsletters, "a good time was had by all". We had Mass, games, dinner (sponsored by Jollibee), singing, dancing, and lots of laughs and visiting. I'm planning a visit to Navotas to take pictures for a home page I'm doing for the Foundation that supervised our visit but until then I want to share with you the real beauty and richness of a very poor area of the world: the people of Navotas. By the way, the first four pictures are of my brothers from my first family (as you can see they are very camera shy) and the next picture is my sister who is a very excellent singer). The rest are different families from the area who arrived in 4 jeepnies to enjoy the day.
