At Marty seven of the High School girls went to Father Sylvester Eisenman, OSB, and asked him to help them create a Sisters’ Community for Indian girls. At 3:pm on October 6, 1935, in the Marty church the seven girls began their Postulancy. Sister (Saint) Katherine Drexel, the Foundress of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament, each year visited with the new Order.
