TEACHER INFORMATION AND APPLICATION

Expectations
Teacher participants will work with the Project Education Director, Dr. Lynne Houtz, to develop personal science teaching goals and objectives, implementing the content, strategies, models, and facilities made available by the workshop, integrated with national, state, district, and/or school standards/frameworks. These goals and objectives are to be implemented and assessed during the upcoming fall semester at your own school. In December, teacher participants will report back to Dr. Lynne Houtz with documentation including lesson plans, evaluation/assessment strategies and results, and suggestions for improvement.
Perks
Three hours graduate credit with a minimal fee.
$500.00 stipend.
Lessons and materials.
Gift certificate for supplies from Nebraska Scientific.
Letters of commendation to two people designated by teacher.
Certificates suitable for framing.
Opportunities to bring your students to visit Creighton/s biomedical and clinical research facilities during the school year.
Share lessons and units.
