jt3 Attendance Policy |

|
You are expected to attend class. In every course you will build an understanding of the material incrementally. Missing a lecture or a lab will make it very difficult to meet your own performance goals. If you miss a class you may not earn any points that might have been awarded for that class unless you convince me that the absence was important. Obviously, illness is important; be prepared to provide evidence of it. Participation in university-sponsored activity, such as varsity athletics, Model United Nations, or similar functions are important. Bad management of your time will not be regarded as important. If you know you must miss a class please notify me in advance, preferably by e-mail. I expect you to discuss any absence with me promptly, if you wish it to be excused. |
