Examinations

20%

There will be two examinations, which will contribute a total of 20% of your grade, each covering approximately one half of the assigned reading material. Each examination will include five essay questions, and will be completed in one hour and fifteen minutes. 

Usually you will receive four pairs of essay questions, from which you will select one question to answer.  A fifth question will be mandatory for all students.  We will provide sample questions and answers during the in-class exercises. 

Examinations will be drawn both from the assigned reading and from the exercises.
